I'm currently serving in the cyber branch of the National Guard, and my wife and I have used Space-A travel multiple times ourselves. We know firsthand the frustration of checking Facebook groups, terminal websites, and scattered posts across the internet trying to piece together flight information and hoping you haven't missed an opportunity. That's why I built FlySpaceA.
It's a privilege to serve the military community in this way. This service exists because I believe it should, and because I have the technical skills to make it happen. The folks who serve deserve better tools to navigate the benefits they've earned.

The Honest Reality
Running FlySpaceA costs money - AWS infrastructure, data storage, security, and the time spent maintaining it all. Right now, I'm covering these costs personally because I believe this service should exist for the military community.
Is this sustainable long-term? Honestly, I don't know yet. What I do know is that military families are dealing with enough financial pressure without adding another subscription to the pile.
If we need to find a sustainable model in the future, we'll figure it out then. For now, I'm focused on making sure you have access to the flight information you need.

Will FlySpaceA always be free?
I can't promise "always" - that would be dishonest. Right now it's free, and I'm committed to keeping it that way for as long as I can. If circumstances change and we need a sustainable model, I'll communicate that clearly and well in advance. No surprises, no bait-and-switch.
Why not just charge from the start?
Because military families are already stretched thin financially. Space-A travel is often used because it's one of the few affordable travel options available. Adding a subscription fee to access flight information just felt wrong given the current economic climate.
Where does the flight data come from?
We aggregate publicly available Space-A flight schedules from official Air Mobility Command (AMC) sources. All data is pulled from terminal websites and processed to provide a unified, easy-to-search interface.
Is my personal information safe?
Absolutely. We use enterprise-grade security (AWS Cognito for authentication) and never sell or share your personal information with third parties. We only collect what's necessary to provide the service, and you control your data through your account settings.
Can I suggest new features?
