Accessibility Statement
How FlySpaceA approaches WCAG 2.1 AA and Section 508 accessibility
Accessibility Standard
FlySpaceA is designed and built to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, and to the Revised Section 508 standard that federal agencies and the organizations serving them are held to. In plain terms, that means the site is meant to work with a keyboard alone, to work with screen readers and other assistive technology, to offer sufficient color contrast, and to never rely on color as the only way to convey information.
Basis for This Statement
FlySpaceA is Section 508 and WCAG 2.1 AA conformant based on our self-assessment; a current Accessibility Conformance Report (ACR) is available on request. This is a self-assessment, not a third-party certification, and no certifying body has reviewed it.
As one input to that self-assessment, automated scanning with axe-core runs on pull requests into our integration and deploy branches. Automated scans are one input to the self-assessment, not a release gate that proves conformance.
Feedback
If you run into an accessibility barrier anywhere on FlySpaceA, we want to hear about it. Email accessibility@flyspacea.com and let us know.
To help us track down and fix the issue quickly, please include the page URL where you ran into the problem, what you were trying to do, and the browser and assistive technology (if any) you were using.
We acknowledge accessibility reports within seven business days and aim to substantively respond within thirty days.
Known Issues
Automated tools detect roughly 30-40% of WCAG success criteria. A passing scan means no automatically detectable barriers were found on the evaluated pages; it does not by itself establish full WCAG conformance. Manual and assistive-technology testing remain required for a complete evaluation.
The POST-rendered Space-A request preview and other authenticated surfaces (dashboard, flights map, admin, settings) remain a documented gap.
Review Cycle
Our most recent Accessibility Conformance Report is dated 2026-08-16. The report is regenerated whenever our automated accessibility scan runs, and we review this statement at least annually and whenever the report is regenerated.
